Tuesday’s primary election will give Kanabec County voters a chance to have their say in which candidates appear on the general election ballot in November.

Voters will have the opportunity on Tuesday to narrow down the list of candidates running for several local and state offices - including U.S. senator.

On the local level, the trio of Roger Crawford, Don Semelhack and Jerry Nelson are all seeking the District 2 Kanabec County commissioner seat up for election this year, and Tuesday’s primary will whittle the field down from three to two.
