Fish Lake Chapel installs new pastor at Oct. services

At 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 the Fish Lake Chapel will install Pastor Bob Bohachek as their new pastor following their 10 a.m. worship service and a potluck lunch.

Pastor Bob and his wife Pauline Bohachek have lived in the Mora community for the past 16 years.

He served as pastor at Hillman Baptist Church for 13 years until 2005.

He is a graduate of Liberty University, Thomas Road Bible Institute and has attended several years at Bethel Seminary. He brings 35 years of ministry experience which include lay speaker, chaplain of the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, pastor and church planter of five different churches and has served as chaplain at a maximum security prison in Rustburg, Va.

He has also served on many boards and service organizations including the Grandview Christian Ministries, Minnesota Baptist Conference and the Mora Crisis Pregnancy Center board of directors.

His wife has been involved with “Women’s Ministries,” the Cambridge office for the Children’s Shelter of Cebu in the Philippines, Grandview Christian Ministries and Industries Inc.

The couple hopes to bring their experience, life’s lessons and wisdom from God to the congregation.

“We are excited to see what once again God is bringing into our lives and will do for this church and its people,” Bohachek said. “It is better to wear out than rust out.”

The Fish Lake Chapel is a nondenominational church and is located south of Mora on Cty. Rd. 61 (Jade St.) just off Fish Lake Rd.
