Zudora M. Belanger

Zudora Madeline Belanger (Draper) of Mora died on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Villa Health Care Center in Mora. She was 96 years old.

She was born Feb. 6, 1914 in Minneapolis to John and Lena (Fost) Draper. She grew up in Minneapolis, often referring to the Seven Corners area and happy times as a child. She attended school until the age of 17. She had four brothers and a sister.

She was united in marriage to Frank on July 30, 1931 in Elk River. They had seven children. They moved to Zimmerman in 1952 and then to Mora in 1960 where they spent their remaining years.

Her happiest times were when family members would visit and she could see her grandchildren and prepare a large meal for all. She enjoyed crafts, her vegetable garden and her pickle patch. She will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sister; husband, Frank; daughters, Barbara and Marion (Molloy) and husband Daniel; son, Michael and wife Joan (Larsen).

She is survived by daughter, Rosemary; sons, Lloyd (Georgene), Frank (Linda) and Fred (Jo Ann); 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation and time of gathering took place on Saturday, July 24 at Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home with Rita Clasemann officiating.

Inurnment will be at a later date.
